Ready, Set, Sniff…A few rules to keep everyone happy and safe.
- All visits are by appointment only booked thru the Sniff Spot app. No drops in permitted.
- All guests must be 16 years of age or older. No children in the dog parks please.
- Please pick up after your dog(s). Garbage and poop bags provided at the front gate to the park. Keep gates closed at all times.
- This is a natural grazing field. NO running/climbing in the trees or playing fetch with sticks. Please discourage your dog from destroying live trees and digging holes(please text notify of any large holes if it happens). Watch for uneven ground, dirt mounds, insects etc. Please wear closed toed shoes. no flip flops or sandals.
- If you bring toys, please make every effort to take them with you when you leave and/or clean up the mess if its destroyed.
- Proof of dog’s vaccination required.
- Up to date deworming and flea/tick prevention is highly recommended.
- Have the best time with your canine companions!
Potential hazards to be aware of:
Ice/Snow/Slush- ice cleats highly recommended in winter conditions. Especially during thawing as the parking area and walkways can be very slippery.
Vehicles driving by, flying rocks and debris possible(Park 2)
Can be hard to see fence at a distance
Trees, sticks, low branches, roots, stumps etc
Barbed wire on fence
Potential wildlife
Farm equipment may be visible working from park.
Livestock(sheep, cattle and chickens may be grazing in adjacent fields/pens).
Large dirt pile, rocks, mushrooms/fungi, clumps of dirt.
Uneven ground and holes/ruts
Long grass/weeds/Thistle/Rocks/Stinging Nettle Insects
Mud/Puddles
Fenced off dug out * Please avoid- no access at this time. Keep off and stay away from fence*(Park 2)
++In winter, there can be snow/ice build up at the fence line. Mostly at the corners but please be aware.
